I am an ex employee and I felt like it was a great learning experience. The staff was like family to me .Since leaving ther I haven't connected with employees like that . You guys keep up the good work keep loving on every one like you do. This is not an easy job but we make it easy because we do what we do from our heart. This is Raquel Malveaux you guys rock .

I've been around Psychiatric Hospitals mostly since I was a child due to many different hardships I've encountered in my life. I've been admitted to Intracare North about 3 times as an adolescent. It's a little more strict than the now closed Intracare South was. They are very clean, serve great food and the nurses always make sure you are SAFE. I also met my husband when I was 13 years old at the Intracare South by Fannin was in March 2010, as my life changed forever. ❤

I enjoy working here so much, because it's a positive environment focused on patient care. The doctors have been great to work with, and I have seen consistently good patient outcomes and successful discharges. Is everyone super happy when they leave the hospital? No, because this is crisis care to stabilize our patients, and ongoing care is required. After patients go home, they have follow up appointment scheduled for continuity of care. We have a very good patient advocate who handles any issues that may arise. Of all the hospitals in the Greater Houston Area, I can honestly say that I would only trust SUN to take care of my friends and family should they need psychiatric care. Update on smoking: We now have a patient smoking area.

I have had few positive experiences when calling, the professionalism is void. I call and asked to speak to a particular nurse and she gets on the phone smacking as if she's eating. I ask a question and she replies, say what... My child was here more than a month and had No schooling or educational information provided. I understand that this is no a school setting, but watching TV and playing games is not beneficial.

Great experience! Just left this facility and spent a week inpatient... The staff was amazing, the Dr was great and caring... By far the best mental health facility in Houston! Definitely will be recommending this facility to others! From intake to discharge things went smoothly! Thank you Sun Behavioral for giving me my life back!
